Acorn Swim School opened in June 2011 and offers private and semi-private learn-to-swim instruction to swimmers of all levels. Conveniently located near Hwy 24 and downtown Orinda , Acorn provides East Bay swimmers with easy access to superior swimming instruction. Our aim is to create lifelong swimmers by instilling both a love of the water and the fundamentals of correct stroke technique. Lessons are taught by competitive swimmers licensed and trained by SwimAmerica , a national learn-to-swim program developed and operated by the American Swim Coaches Association. Whether your primary goal is water safety or preparing your child to excel on one of the area's many swim teams, Acorn is your seed!
